What You Will Do :
Support, improve, and maintain employment activities which may include :
Receiving, acting on, and documenting employee complaints or grievances
administering employee records
ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
administering leaves of absence
coordinating employee and supervisor trainings
ensure compliance with company HR policies across the organization
Support new hire on-boarding processes
Facilitate workers’ comp inquiries
Facilitate and communicate with employees and leaders on employee work restrictions and maintain all documentation received
Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Follow all company policies (Attendance, No Tobacco Products on Campus, Illegal Drug & Alcohol, Family Medical Leave Act, Personal Appearance, Personal Electronic Devices, Vacation & Personal Time, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma / GED is required

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience
Flexibility to support staff needs on various shifts (Day, Swing, Grave)
Strong proficiency with an HRIS database. Preferably (Workday) and Microsoft Excel
Minimum 3 years of related human resource experience
Physical Demands :
Sit for at least eight hours
Lift up to 20 pounds
Use of safety equipment (Safety glasses)
Preferred Qualifications :
Strong analytical skills, exceptional critical thinking skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail are required.
Ability to work independently to drive assigned projects, while partnering with key resources both internally and externally.
Strong Microsoft office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Extensive knowledge of leaves and leave administration.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
Knowledge of filing and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Worker's Compensation and DOL requirements.
Ability to work in a team.
