Anticipated - Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist

CVSD is seeking an innovative and collaborative SLP-CCC to join our CVSD Early Education team. We seek a warm, highly organized and dynamic individual to collaborate with other professionals in our early education program which serves young children through a multi-tiered system of support with a mixed-delivery model of universal prekindergarten. We are seeking a professional with demonstrated leadership, organization and problem-solving skills with a passion for inclusive, high-quality learning opportunities for young children. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in screening, assessing, and diagnosing communication disabilities, and providing individualized and embedded services to students with a variety of disabilities. The SLP will also train, supervise, and/or consult with educational providers and they will participate in IEP processes, acting as case manager when specified. The SLP should exhibit knowledge of early childhood special education rules and regulations, and a solid ability to develop intervention programs for young children.
Masters degree in Communication Disorders or other appropriate discipline plus 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in the provision of early education SLP services is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained their CCC’s.
