HR Generalist – Mid Level (Hybrid - Arlington VA Tues and Thurs)

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to work closely with our HR Director as well as other members of our Corporate and Administrative Team. This focus of this role is on transactional HR duties in additional to some special projects. Good technical skills are essential along with proficiency with MS Office. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment. The coordination of a number of different tasks and duties requires excellent organizational skills. Must possess the ability to perform tasks accurately and independently with minimal oversight. Must be committed to ensuring that all duties are fulfilled on a timely basis. Requires a self-motived individual with a positive can-do attitude. Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and employees is required.

Responsibilities
- Assists with coordination of Onboarding Activities
- Supports professional development initiatives
- Assists with administration of human resources information system (HRIS) and talent management portal
- Assists with benefits administration including annual open enrollment
- Supports employee morale, team-building and informational initiatives
- Coordinates marketing and branding program activities
- Performs additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- 3-5 years of professional experience in human resources
- Knowledge of HR theories and best practices in employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS applications, and other relevant computer software (i.e., knowledge databases, applicant tracking systems, etc.)
- Experience utilizing and navigating HR databases as well as carrier and other administrator platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated self-initiative and attention to detail
- Reliable and accountable
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
