Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is looking for an individual who would like to join the Group Sales team. The Group Sales Specialist position is a part-time, permanent, non-exempt position. This position is responsible for answering inbound calls from group leaders, setting up reservations, performing outbound follow up, & responding to group question.
The role would work an average of 18-28 hours per week. Our busiest times are Monday-Wednesday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm but have flexibility with days of work.
Group Sales Specialist Job Description

The Group Sales Specialist position is a part-time, permanent, non-exempt position. This position is responsible for answering inbound communications from group leaders, setting up reservations, performing outbound follow up, & responding to group questions.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
- Set up group reservations
- Build relationships with group leaders
- Receive incoming group sales calls and make outbound sales calls
- Process payments for group reservations
- Email and mail group contracts, tickets, and correspondence
- Make final count, payment, and performance confirmation calls & emails
- Coordinate group information & communicate with internal departments for each performance
- Participate in establishing, monitoring, & achieving team sales goals
- Make recommendations for improvement in the department
- Support full-time Group Sales team members as required
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age and older
- 2 years of customer service experience (Sales, Retail, and/or Call Center)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Excel and other Office 365 apps
- Detail orientation and typing accuracy required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- AudienceView and/or CRM experience helpful but not required
