Salary : Starting Salary Range of $100,000-$140,000 commensurate with experience

The Position :

The Implementation Training Specialist is a role within the Professional Services department at CharacterStrong, whose primary focus is to develop and deliver high-quality professional learning, coaching, and evaluation support to schools and school districts that CharacterStrong serves. These services help schools and districts build internal capacity to facilitate the successful adoption and implementation of effective programs, practices, and initiatives to produce better outcomes for students. The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise in Implementation Science and will have led the implementation of MTSS, SEL, PBIS, and Restorative Practices at a district level. The Implementation Training Specialist will work with multiple schools and districts and is adept at delivering highly engaging professional learning and coaching support across all Tiers of support and intervention types. Travel will be a requirement for this position to deliver in-person services, and candidates should expect to travel upwards of 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to school systems to provide in-person consultative services.
  • Cultivate relationships with the schools and districts CharacterStrong serves.
  • Perform regular follow-ups with leads and facilitate communication with existing customers.
  • Deliver webinars, demos, conference sessions, and other professional learning experiences.
  • Support the development of CharacterStrong initiatives based on need and expertise.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual consultative and coaching services to school districts, building teams, and school-based coaches / providers across all Tiers of support and intervention.
  • Conducting needs assessments / evaluations and developing improvement and implementation plans.
  • Qualifications

  • Masters degree or higher in Education, Special Education, Educational Leadership, School Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in education in a leadership role.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of at least 3 of the 5 following areas : MTSS, PBIS, Restorative Practices, and / or Implementation or Improvement Science.
  • Experience in developing and leading large-scale professional development in at least 3 of the 5 areas listed above.
  • Experience with supporting and coaching district and building teams in the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.
  • Knowledge of how to integrate social, emotional, and behavioral supports with academics (e.g., PBIS, SEL, Restorative Practices, Classroom Management).
  • Ability to develop trusting relationships that facilitate successful coaching of teams towards desired outcomes.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Open to feedback, coaching, and willingness to try new things.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Starting Salary Range of $100,000-$140,000 commensurate with experience
