About The Role

We're looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our CBO/Billing Department. In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for patients with billing and account questions. You'll assist with account resolutions, ensure prompt payment of balances, and work closely with insurance providers to address claims issues and denials.

What You'll Do

  • Represent our practice with professionalism and handle inbound patient calls.
  • Explain financial responsibilities and insurance coverage to patients.
  • Assist patients with resolving claims and addressing past-due balances.
  • Set up and manage payment plans to ensure timely payments.
  • Make outbound calls to support collections efforts.
  • Respond promptly to patient inquiries to provide excellent service.
  • Collaborate with team members who share your dedication to customer care.

What You'll Bring

  • At least one year of experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving and research abilities.
  • Knowledge of patient billing, claims submission, and insurance requirements is a plus (but not required).
  • Previous collections experience in a healthcare setting is a bonus.
