Job Title: Front Office Supervisor/Manager on Duty

Reports to: Front Office Manager

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the appropriate arrival and departure experience of guest in a courteous and professional manner while maintaining Luxury Four Diam/Four Star Standards. Additionally, the Front Office Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that standards are met consistently pertaining to the resort. The Front Office Supervisor must be creative and have exceptional communication and time management skills. Qualified candidates must exceed expectations, by having great initiative and enthusiasm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITES:

· Be thoroughly acquainted with all check in and check out policies and procedures

· Oversee pre-arrival communications for all arriving guests

· Oversee and directly handle all guest issues pertaining to service and billing

· Be familiar with all technical equipment related to the Front Office

· Be familiar with all hotel facilities and offerings.

· Understand the influence and importance of all departments to the Front Office

· Train and develop all new and existing associates on a continuous basis

· Understand and be able to control rooms inventory

· Familiar with all reservation special packages

· Understand all radio codes and emergency procedures

· Be familiar with shift checklists and be able to assist in the absence of the Manager on Duty

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Attain a high propensity for customer service

· Must have previous cash handling experience

· Must be proficient with all Microsoft systems

· Broad knowledge of Opera PMS, HOTSOS and Go Concierge system is a plus

· Must have 1 to 2 years of Front Desk experience

· Previous leadership experience in a luxury resort environment is a plus

· Must be flexible with scheduling to include mornings, nights, night audit, holidays and weekends.

A minimum of 1-2 years of Front Desk experience required in a property of similar size.

Applicants must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Job Type: Full-time
