Landscape Account Executive
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Commercial Landscape and Snow Removal Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for selling all aspects of landscape maintenance, enhancements, tree work, facility repairs and services, and snow removal to commercial clients. The ideal candidate should possess a strong sales background, in-depth knowledge of the landscape industry, and the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector by actively prospecting, generating leads, and networking with potential clients. Develop a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial clients, understanding their specific landscaping needs and requirements. Provide exceptional customer service, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
3. Needs Assessment and Proposal Generation: Conduct comprehensive on-site assessments of commercial properties, understanding clients' landscape maintenance, enhancement, tree work, facility repair, and snow removal needs. Develop tailored proposals that align with client requirements and company capabilities.
4. Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to clients, effectively showcasing the benefits of our landscape maintenance, enhancements, tree work, facility repair, and snow removal services. Collaborate with clients to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
5. Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional landscape services and solutions to existing clients. Continuously explore ways to expand service offerings and increase revenue streams.
6. Collaboration with Operations Team: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of services and successful completion of projects. Provide clear and accurate instructions to the team to meet client expectations.
7. Industry Knowledge and Trends: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to landscape maintenance, enhancements, tree work, facility repairs, and snow removal services. Apply this knowledge to enhance service offerings, improve sales strategies, and provide valuable insights to clients.
8. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts. Provide regular reports to management regarding sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, specifically within the commercial landscape industry, including landscape maintenance, enhancements, tree work, facility repairs, and snow removal services.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial landscape practices, industry standards, and related equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and build relationships with clients.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
