Charlevoix Middle / High School is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to lead our Aviation / Aeronautics Science and Technology program. This is an exciting opportunity to shape students’ futures and ignite their interest in the dynamic and innovative world of aviation.
Position : Part-Time Aviation / Aeronautics Science & Technology Teacher
3 hours / day : 2 hours of instruction 1 planning hour)

Responsibilities :
- Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in aviation / aeronautics science and technology, following the established CTE program scope and sequence.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student exploration and critical thinking.
- Develop and implement interactive lessons, projects, and simulations to deepen students’ understanding of aviation principles.
- Facilitate real-world learning experiences, such as field trips, guest speakers, and potential internships, to connect students with industry professionals.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth.
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and community partners to strengthen and expand the aviation program.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, class activities, and program development.
