Summary: The Title III Data Quality Manager/Coordinating Teacher monitors, explores and analyzes school, district and state English Learner data with all stakeholders to support Title III plans and district and department strategic plans. This position collaborates with State data specialist and other CMS departments to ensure the data integrity of any English Learner related data. This position will support the English Learner (EL) Services Department in the collection and maintenance of federal/state/local EL data and will assist schools by providing accurate and timely EL data.

- Collaborates with Schools, Assessment, Technology Services, and NC DPI to ensure accurate maintenance of federal/state/local EL data. This includes the creation of appropriate reports and lists in order to update and/or investigate missing EL student data (test scores, demographic information, US school entry date and language).
- Ensures EL student data integrity in both Power School and the NC Department of Public Instruction databases for the collection and reporting of the federal October 1 EL headcount, the Immigrant headcount, ACCESS tier assignment, the end-of-year EL headcount update and all other state and federally required data reports.
- Assists schools and departments in getting accurate and timely EL data.
- Responds to data requests from CMS departments.
- Conducts a yearly needs assessment of the program in collaboration with the Executive Director of EL Services.
- Builds reports for the district and schools; communicates with programmer about the operations of the database and inform the ESL Executive Director of issues needing attention.
- Stays abreast of current research and best practices in working with EL students.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
