JOB GOAL
The Talent Acquisition Leadership Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation (in partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition - Leadership) of initiatives to assist in recruiting, hiring, and retaining effective district leaders. The Talent Acquisition Leadership Specialist will manage and maintain (in partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition - Leadership) the school executive talent pools and ensure fidelity of the process. Employee performs work to carry out Board of Education policies and procedures related to a wide variety of programs and activities under the direction of the Director of Talent Acquisition - Leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures
- Develop, plan, and implement proactive and creative recruitment strategies/tools to source, assess, and pre-qualify highly preferred leaders in partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition - Leadership.
- Develop and incorporate social media for recruiting.
- Manage (in partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition - Leadership) the school executive talent pools and ensure fidelity of the process,
- Maintains accurate data on recruitment metrics.
- Develop and maintains a pool of qualified applicants in advance of need; follows up with direct leads to create a viable pool of school executive candidates for the district workforce.
- Conducts initial screening of applicants, prescreening interviews, and assists in the interviewing and selection process; assesses candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit, and compatibility to ensure hiring of best possible talent.
- Develops and maintains a network of contacts to easily identify and source qualified talent through a variety of channels including internet, social networking sites, networking, referrals, etc.
- Provides complete and accurate information to candidates about the district, onboarding process, and the requirements of our workforce.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements applicable to school system human resources

- The normal place of work is on the premises used by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Charlotte- Mecklenburg Schools reserves the right to require you to work at such other place(s) as it may reasonably require from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree required
- NC Certification (Principal) Licensure - Preferred
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license, or ability to provide own transportation
- Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings
- Master's degree in School Administrator or related area
- NC Certification (Principal)
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a building or district administrator
