Position: Dental Surgery Coordinator
The Dental Surgery Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of dental surgical procedures. This includes scheduling appointments, managing patient records, liaising with dental surgeons and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the office runs efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and schedule patient appointments for dental surgeries, ensuring proper timing and surgeon availability.
- Coordinate pre-surgery consultations, ensuring patients understand the procedures and prepare accordingly.
- Handle follow-up appointments and post-surgery care scheduling.
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients regarding surgery details, ensuring they understand the procedure, recovery process, and any necessary preparations.
- Ensure that patients complete all necessary forms, such as medical history and consent forms, prior to the procedure.
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing for surgical procedures.
- Ensure that all patient information is properly communicated between the surgical team and administrative staff.
Experience/Education/Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous dental, oral or medical surgery experience required
Schedule:
On-site Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30; Friday 7:30-12:00
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
