JOB TITLE: Admission Screener-RN
PAY: $38-$40 (depending on experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday (9:30pm - 6pm)
JOB SUMMARY: The Admissions Screener position is responsible for ensuring a
welcoming environment for new residents and families. Communicates with residents
daily to ensure their needs are met and concerns are identified and addressed in a timely
manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains a daily log with questions, concerns raised and follow up taken on
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Displays optimism fostering a spirit of teamwork, positive attitude and conflict
and visitors in all circumstances.
- Excellent Communication Skills, coordinating activities in conjunction with other
with family members, providing information on facility and admissions process
- Strive for excellence performing duties with measured accuracy and timeliness
- Problem solver identifying actual/potential problems and creates an action plan
- Displays excellent Customer Service by assisting and cooperating with other
team members. Provides direction to visitors, staff, volunteers and external
populations
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Minimum: High School Degree or equivalent
Preferred: Associates Degree RN
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: 1 year of experience working in a long-term care setting working with
residents and families
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: RN
Education
Required- High School or better
Licenses & Certifications
Preferred- RN
