Staff Development Coordinator (RN) Responsibilities:
- Work with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Center staff in assessing training needs and plan programs that meet priority needs and regulatory requirements. Continually, communicate with department director to assess needs in relation to staff training needs as a basis for determining priorities.
- Assist with the orientation program for all new associates to include the overall administration as well as functioning as the primary instructor.
- Plan and implement center in-service education programs in accordance with staff needs and regulatory requirements. Develop and improve the skills of center personnel.
- Help with Staff Retention Efforts and celebrations monthly
- Conduct routine in-services teaching policies and procedures
- Full-Cycle recruitment and onboarding for all departments
Who we are looking for:
- Must have a valid RN license in the state employed
- Preferred: two years in a nursing management position in a long-term care facility or hospital setting
- Must be licensed in Infection Control Prevention
- Good clinical and organizational skills
- Great communication skills and team player
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, members of the community, and to work cooperatively with other associates.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour
