Detailer/Lot Porter

Chaz Limited Auto Body is seeking responsible, dedicated individuals to join our team in Downtown Anchorage team as a full-time Auto Detailer/Porter! If you are reliable, have a high attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you! This is an entry-level position; formal or informal detailing experience is a plus but not required.

Work Hours:

Monday-Friday, from 8:00am - 5:00pm; some occasional overtime may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-wash on vehicles, preparing them for the repair process
• Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles prior to the final delivery to the customer, visually inspecting the vehicle for any flaws in the repair area(s)
• Shuttling customers and in-process vehicles to and from the repair facility as needed
• Assist with general building maintenance needs and upkeep
• Assist with Pre-Scan and Post-Scan of vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and be on your feet for extended periods of time

Desirables:

• Familiarity with collision, mechanical or dealership operations
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, detailer or production assistant is beneficial
