Surveillance Supervisor:

SALARY:: $23 - $25 per hour DOE, plus benefits; (health, dental insurance, 401K, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation/sick time after completion of 90-day probation).

The Surveillance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the repair, maintenance, and documentation of Surveillance Department systems is completed in a timely manner. The Surveillance Supervisor will oversee the surveillance department under the direction of the Gaming Commission.

The Surveillance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the repair, maintenance, and documentation of Surveillance Department systems is completed in a timely manner. The Surveillance Supervisor will oversee the surveillance department under the direction of the Gaming Commission.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participates in and ensures the quality of operations in the Surveillance Department; communicates with Surveillance observers.
- Ensures all surveillance equipment is maintained and/or operational.
- Trains and motivates staff
- Researches surveillance technology and recommend enhancements to ensure efficient and cost-effective surveillance operations.
- Provides testimony as a subject matter expert in Gaming Commission Hearings, Tribal Court or Court of Law.
- Must adhere to internal controls, casino policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and tribal regulations pertaining to HLC and its casino operations.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all games offered by the casino.
- Assist in the relocation of surveillance equipment as needed.
- Keep informed of new equipment and technology as it becomes available on the market.
- Must be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Geo-Vision system is preferred.
- High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience within a surveillance department, and two (2) years of management experience within a casino environment.
- PC literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Have knowledge of how all-applicable video equipment operates.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to operations, personnel, controls, and procedures involved in surveillance activities.
- Evaluate equipment needs and order surveillance equipment as necessary.
- Operate various tools and test equipment while maintaining, installing, and repairing surveillance equipment.
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and honest.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to work changing schedules to adjust to fluctuating business demands and work any shifts, including holidays, and fill in shifts for call outs.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented sound judgment and mature decision-making.
- Ability to react quickly and accurately under demanding, high-stress conditions.
- Be self-motivated and complete job functions with little or no supervision.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming license with the CGC.
