This Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling electronic, electrical, and pneumatic components to manufacture fully functional analyzers within the XOS analyzer product group. They will work from a mix of standard work (SOPs), schematics, and engineering documentation to install and test control panels, wiring, and other components. The individual must be capable of working independently and have strong problem solving and diagnostic skills.

The salary range for this role is $20-$22. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

The compensation range for this role is $20 - $22 USD per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Follows detailed work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings to manufacture a fully functional engineered-to-order Elemental Analyzer.
- Tests all system functions to ensure all First Article Test requirements are met.
- Ensure analyzers are produced on-schedule while raising concerns if challenges arise.
- Maintains cleanliness and operational effectiveness of assembly/alignment work areas and tools
- Participates in daily reporting through visual management and meetings to communicate and escalate issues with performance metrics – SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity)
- Participates in the execution of process improvements and the development of assembly procedures within the assembly work areas
Critical Success Factors:
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics and engineering assembly drawings.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Demonstrated team player with strong communication skills.
- Good spatial reasoning skills
- Possess a minimum of three years of experience assembling electromechanical systems.
- Independence and good judgment, positive attitude, and an innovative spirit
- Interpersonal skills and communication proficiency
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- AAS in a technical degree or equivalent work experience.
