What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Care Specialist position at Chenal Pet Palace?
We are looking for an experienced Pet Care Specialist to join our Pet Palace family. We are a family-owned, busy pet care business in search of a new Pet Care Specialist. This position will start at full time. Starting wage is based on experience. We would love for a new, enthusiastic team member to join our family. You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility. Please only serious candidates apply. Do not waste our time; time that we would rather be spent with 4-legged friends, than two-legged.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Must love and have patience with pets
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Have a reliable source of transportation
- Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- MUSTwork atleast 1 full weekend per month
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Time Management is a Plus; This is very important because our 4-legged guest are ready for playtime (this means arriving to work on time)
- Cleaning up after dog guests and maintaining cleanliness throughout facilities
- Assisting other employees to create a helpful team environment
