Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Basketball Coach to join our summer camp team. The coach will be responsible for teaching basketball skills, fostering teamwork, and ensuring a fun and safe environment for campers of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging basketball practices and drills.
- Assess camper skill levels and provide personalized coaching.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude among campers.
- Organize and oversee basketball games, tournaments, and skill challenges.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during activities.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and camp staff.
- Maintain basketball equipment and facilities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience coaching basketball, preferably in a camp or school setting.
- Strong understanding of basketball techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Ability to motivate and connect with children and young adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
