Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks (e.g., rent collection, payment processing, check issuance).
- Ensure timely payment of property expenses, including taxes, insurance, and maintenance costs.
- Provide regular financial reports on property performance, including occupancy and lease expirations.
Tenant Relations:
- Manage all aspects of tenant communications and relationships.
- Advertise vacant properties, screen prospective tenants, and negotiate lease agreements.
- Address tenant complaints and rental violations promptly and professionally.
Property Operations:
- Coordinate contracts and manage ongoing services (e.g., maintenance, landscaping, security).
- Oversee vendor relationships and resolve disputes when necessary.
- Regularly inspect properties to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial property management (required).
- Proficiency in day-to-day bookkeeping (required).
- Familiarity with property management software (Buildium experience preferred).
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Adept at problem-solving and thinking on your feet in high-pressure situations.
