CSP has been exclusively engaged by a non-profit organization in their search for a Human Resources Director. The incumbent will lead a team of 2, and loves to be very hands on with all employees and customer centric. This role is hybrid, with two days on site in downtown Baltimore, MD.
Essential Duties:
- Drive Employee Engagement: Craft policies that promote a vibrant, inclusive culture; mediate workplace conflicts; and lead initiatives that boost employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Ensure Legal Compliance: Stay on top of ever-changing employment laws, conduct regular audits, and ensure HR practices align with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead Policy Innovation: Develop and implement impactful HR policies, manage FMLA and leave programs, and revise policies to keep pace with legal changes and employee feedback.
- Performance Excellence: Oversee performance reviews, support managers in improving performance, and coach leadership on best practices.
- Develop & Empower: Design cutting-edge training programs, lead diversity and inclusion efforts, and empower employees to thrive in their roles.
- Lead & Mentor: Supervise and mentor the Payroll and Benefits Administrator and Full-Cycle Recruiter to ensure top-tier HR operations.
- Strategic Advisor: Collaborate with leadership on HR strategies, policies, and employee satisfaction to drive organizational success.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, with 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of employee relations, compliance, FMLA, leave management, and performance management.
- Skills: Strong project management, communication, and decision-making abilities; experience with HR systems; confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Certifications: HRCI or SHRM certification preferred.
