Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Systems Manager to oversee our technical infrastructure and lead our Network Team. If you have a strong technical background and a passion for managing IT systems, we invite you to apply.
OVERVIEW:
The Network Systems Manager is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server and virtualization infrastructure, SAN, Cisco IPT/VoIP, and networking equipment. This role includes administering corporate email, Internet, WAN, and other related communication systems, while providing daily supervision and technical direction for Network Team staff.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and Manage Network the Outpatient and School-Based programs in St. Clair and Madison Infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain server and virtualization infrastructure, SAN, Cisco IPT/VoIP, and networking equipment.
- Communications Systems: Administer corporate email, Internet, WAN, VoIP, and telecommunications systems.
- Supervision: Provide daily supervision and technical direction for Network Team staff.
- End User Support: Oversee the installation and configuration of PCs, software, and peripherals, including mobile devices.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues.
- Systems Administration: Maintain DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and member servers. Implement AD group policies as needed.
- Security: Participate in the IT Security Team to plan, assess, and implement security measures. Manage tools and processes to monitor and maintain security.
- Backups and Continuity Planning: Administer data backup procedures and contribute to continuity planning. Monitor backup logs and report status to the Director.
- Technology Monitoring: Stay current on IS/IT technologies and recommend effective use of new technologies.
- Customer Service: Promote Chestnut’s culture of customer service excellence by adhering to behavioral standards.
- Confidentiality: Maintain and protect the confidentiality and security of all organizational information.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of IT.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems (IS) or related field preferred.
- Industry certifications such as MCSE, Cisco certification, CISSP, or equivalent experience required.
- Extensive experience with current versions of MS Windows Server, MS Exchange systems administration, Cisco IPT/VoIP configuration, VMware ESXi/VSphere administration, SAN/storage administration, and networking hardware.
- Strong supervisory and project management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Satisfactory completion of Chestnut's background checking process.
