Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer
This role is categorized as hybrid, meaning the successful candidate will be expected to report to our Mountain View Technical Center in Mountain View, CA or to the Milford Proving Ground in Milford, MI three times per week.
System Engineers are responsible for partitioning and allocating product, feature and system functionality to implementation teams. Safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance are factors considered in system design with the goal of optimizing performance, design, testability, and deployability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and tools, including functional safety systems and regulations. Proficiency in requirements management tools and FMEA techniques is also required.
The salary range for this role is $225,000 to $344,800, and bonus potential exists based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
