What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fulfillment Specialist position at Chewy?
At Chewy, we're committed to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely delivery of our products. As a Fulfillment Specialist, you'll play a critical role in achieving this goal by performing a wide range of warehouse functions.
You'll be responsible for labeling, replenishing, box making, loading/unloading trailers, and moving stowed product to various locations using a Forklift. Additionally, you'll fulfill and coordinate orders to ensure an efficient and accurate customer delivery process. Your attention to detail will be crucial in crafting accurate shipping documentation for domestic shipments.
To excel in this role, you'll need to understand and adhere to our safety guidelines and procedures. You'll also be willing to be trained on Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) equipment, such as Movexx/Amigo, Walkie Stacker, Double Walkie Rider, etc.
Your physical job requirements will include walking up to 2 miles per shift, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting greater than 70 pounds using a team lift. You'll also stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel regularly.
