The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for gathering and verifying healthcare practitioner information and adding it to a database. Primary methods of researching information include phones, internet, faxes, emails and letters.

Your role:
- Contacts primary sources (e.g., hospitals, licensing boards, etc.) to verify and gather healthcare practitioner information
- Mails and faxes verification requests to the appropriate sources
- Researches verification information via the Internet and other electronic and hardcopy databases
- Maintains and updates provider files in compliance with company policy
- Reviews provider information for accuracy and completeness
- Input provider documents into the databases
- Contacts provider to gather and update documentation for assignment
- Completes additional projects as assigned by management
- Contributes to positive culture
- Build camaraderie, and inspire teamwork and trust within the team
- Be an active member of the credentialing team to help create an exceptional employment for all employees from credentialing to RNnetwork peers
Your qualifications:
- Type 35 wpm
- Clear and concise phone and verbal communication skills
- Good letter writing and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Problem solving and reasoning skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to develop relationship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service and/or phone experience
- Basic computer skills and familiarity
Preferred Skills:
- Able to learn and use a database
- Able to follow instructions and use time productively
- Able to work individually as well as in a team environment
- Ability to multi task
- Attentiveness to accuracy
