We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with participants, providers, attorneys, local unions and trustees.
  • Answer benefit status and coverage questions. Log all communications in our system with the ability to transition to documenting communication in the claims payment system.
  • Review participant annual and accident/loss of time claim forms, miscellaneous general correspondence and eligibility documents.
  • Request additional information, when necessary, in writing or by telephone regarding claims submitted to our office.
  • Effectively communicate with participants who come to our office for assistance with their claims.
  • Generate, send and track written correspondence.
  • Work overtime when business needs dictate it.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Basic PC/WINDOWS knowledge.
  • Basic Microsoft WORD skills;
  • Must be able to handle a varying volume of phone calls throughout the workday;
  • Ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of welfare benefits and eligibility requirements.
  • Ability to maintain minimum production standards.

Pay: $30.58 - $39.48 per hour
