Description
The IT Coordinator is responsible for supervising the resources and day-to-day activities of the IT department. This will include reporting on plans, projects, and performance of specific systems and/or departments to the IT Steering Committee.

•Maintain satisfactory attendance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects
•Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices
•Act as a link between end users and higher level support
•Install and configure software and hardware
•Monitor system and network performance
•Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration
•Perform maintenance activities (e.g. backups)
• Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules
• Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
• Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
• Develop support and training documentation
• Management and reporting of the following: Patches, AV/Anti-Malware, Data Backups/Data Recovery Testing, Device Warranties, and System Performance Metrics.
• Establish processes for ongoing communication of business needs, information systems reporting needs, and product development plans to IT support or line management.
• Ensure that IT development efforts are prioritized, funded, and aligned with business strategy
• Document information flows throughout the business unit and notify ISO when business processes change.
• Coordinating and performing due diligence reviews for prospective third-party providers and ongoing monitoring of third-party providers with which the institution has established relationships.
• Engaging with the ISO to discuss inherent information security risks of new business unit initiatives.

Qualifications
ENVIRONMENT AND INTERACTION
Work areas are inside, in a climate-controlled environment, with moderate background noise.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work is moderately active and requires the following physical activities:
• Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, walking, sitting, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds of computer equipment).
• Driving to company locations and other sites as needed.
PROFICIENCIES
• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
• Proficient with the use and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office Suite and third-party software
• Capable of troubleshooting general hardware, software and internet systems issues
• Ability to install and configure Microsoft operating systems
• Ability to explain complex concepts in easily understandable terms
• Ability to learn and navigate computer systems and websites necessary to complete job description and other duties as assigned
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Information Technology/Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
