We're seeking a highly-driven and skilled media buyer to manage a portfolio of Google ad accounts. This role will be responsible for creating and optimizing media plans, developing creative strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and meet client goals. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role with high growth potential, requiring adaptability and an entrepreneurial mindset to succeed.
Job Summary:
As a Paid Search Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Google Ads campaigns for our clients. You'll collaborate closely with clients to deliver data-driven, performance-focused strategies. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing successful PPC campaigns, a deep understanding of Google Ads best practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Plan, create, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube.
- Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-converting keywords, negative keywords, and opportunities for campaign expansion.
- Ad Copywriting: Develop compelling, relevant ad copy and optimize ad creatives for improved performance and click-through rates (CTR).
- Budget Management: Allocate and manage client budgets to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) while ensuring campaigns remain within budget constraints.
- Performance Tracking: Use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tracking tools to monitor and report on campaign performance.
- A/B Testing: Implement A/B tests for ads, landing pages, and bidding strategies to improve overall campaign effectiveness.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize campaigns for performance, including adjusting bids, refining targeting, and improving ad relevance.
- Reporting: Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with growth managers to ensure clients are kept up-to-date with campaign progress and key performance metrics.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with Google Ads best practices, algorithm changes, and new features, and apply this knowledge to optimize campaigns.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing successful Google Ads campaigns with measurable results.
- Expertise in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
- Proficient in keyword research and tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a plus.
- Google Ads certification is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience managing PPC campaigns for an ad agency or in-house.
- Experience with other PPC platforms (e.g., Bing Ads, Facebook Ads) is a plus.
- Familiarity with landing page design and optimization for conversions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
- This position has an approved base compensation range of $80,000 to $90,000
