Summary
Receives, issues, maintains, and documents medical equipment transactions daily relative to medical equipment inventories needed to support hospital and/or departmental projects and/or technical/troubleshooting issues. Responsible for safeguarding hospital medical assets through accurate and detailed documentation as well as managing existing inventories, to thereby ensure that all hospital personnel can complete their daily tasks required to make life better for children.
Responsibilities
You may be required to float occasionally to other Children's Health locations including Dallas, Plano and THD Clinics. ( S tart time hours can be discussed during interviews)

Responsibilities
- Inventory:
- 1. Document accurate Inventory count on multiple working inventories and maintain accurate documentation.
- 2. Support levels of existing inventories in such a manner that the hospital’s needs are always met (Example: Demand Services Inventory).
- Objectives:
- 1. Document database or spreadsheets-containing information on receipt, disbursement, location, and transfer of all medical assets hardware per BEST Practices for internal audit
- 2. Assist with inventory control by utilizing department maintained RTLS/CMMS software systems.
- 3. Assist in return merchandise authorizations and/or deliveries.
- 4. Inventory daily counts of capital and non-capital available inventory such as retired, disposed, rental, etc.
- 5. Assist with Quarterly Audits for asset inventory focusing on departments data integrity.
- Equipment Issuance:
- 1. Verification of receipt for medical assets with appropriate departmental and hospital staff. Deliver to user if appropriate or instructed based on requests submitted.
- Objective:
- 1. Assist with database or spreadsheets-containing information on receipt, disbursement, location, and transfer of all medical assets hardware.
- 2. Gather all data pertaining to medical assets accuracy maintained in the CMMS system that will ensure demand services activates are meet.
- Documentation of Equipment Transactions:
- 1. Document all equipment movement in CMMS and associated databases or spreadsheets
- Objective:
- 1. Assist database or spreadsheets-containing information on receipt, disbursement, location, and transfer of all medical assets hardware per BEST Practices and internal audit.
- 2. Assist in adequate documentation and records and provide to appropriate department individuals as needed.
- Equipment Receiving:
- 1. Physically taking possession of medical related equipment from Distribution Receiving Dock personnel.
- 2. Process receiving documents by documenting equipment received into CMMS and filing receivers for signature.
- 3. Document information for Equipment Returns.
- Objective:
- 1. Notification to appropriate parties when all equipment is physically here and ready for install.
- 2. Investigates and resolves discrepancies and notify supervisor. Record and document required information into appropriate databases.
- 3. Reconcile vendor documentation to purchase orders to ensure correct receipt/delivery from vendor.
- Assist RTLS & HTM Techs(Biomed):
- 1. Replacement of tags with low batteries.
- 2. Provides inventory information for ongoing updates to help maintain RTLS data accuracy.
- 3. Assist with all new and existing equipment when being inventoried and coordinating the onboarding with department staff as needed.
- 4. Perform ESI equipment safety checks with all new equipment where applicable, and/or coordinate with HTM Techs (Biomed) or vendors if required.
- 5. Perform minor assembly of equipment once check-in complete, and/or coordinate with HTM Techs (Biomed) or vendors if required.
- Objective:
- 1. Keep track of RTLS tags during inventory processes or events
- 2. Accurately document medical assets in both RTLS & CMMS systems and associated databases and/or spreadsheets.
- 3. Inventory and coordinate the onboarding with department staff as needed.
- 4. Ensure that medical equipment is inspected, and safety check ins are completed for each all onboarding of assets.

How You’ll Be Successful:
- At least 2 years related experience Required
- Hospital, HTM, or Technical IT Required
- High school diploma or equivalent Required
- Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience Preferred
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license and proof of insurance Required
