A Brief Overview
The Marketing Technology Specialist assists in the strategic and technical development, execution and measurement of digital initiatives related to CRM, marketing automation, and access/self-service initiatives across CHOP’s digital properties including web sites such as CHOP.edu. The specialist should be a highly organized, creative and analytic problem solver. This role will partner closely with others within the Marketing/PR/Digital organization as well as
stakeholders across the institution including DTS, Data and Analytics, Foundation and Access Center, and report to the Senior Manager, Digital Experience & Marketing Technology.
What you will do
- Participate in the gathering, tracking and evaluation of product development and enhancement requests from MPR team and broader stakeholders.
- Conduct analysis work to understand and fine-tune user and system requirements.
- Deconstruct information gathered into details including sources of data, data types, users, user types, interface components, interface navigation needs, reporting needs, and administrative system needs.
- Manage and update tools such as provider search, web personalization, cookie consent, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, web analytics, digital tag management, online forms.
- Map user and system workflows.
- Assist in the development and mapping of taxonomies of providers, conditions and treatments in support of provider search/directory.
- Work collaboratively with team to develop designs, mock ups and prototypes.
- Research industry best practices; collect and analyze data; draw appropriate conclusions and recommendations; present results in written reports or through oral presentations using visual aids.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Computer Science, Marketing or related discipline Required
- Master's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least five (5) years of experience Required
- Agency experience Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, Personalization and Data Studio preferred.
- SQL and experience with databases preferred.
- Experience working with data and analytics.
- Ability to partner with both technical and non-technical colleagues throughout the institution.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Experience working with Agile or other project management methodologies preferred.
- Prior experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with patient portals such as MyChart preferred.
- Attention to detail while simultaneously keeping the big-picture view in mind.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
