Provides general support for the Child Advocacy Center. Acts as a receptionist and a resource person for the clinic. Collaborates with the CAC team and the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to schedule appointments based on urgency and patient service needs. Coordinates appointments with families and schedules tests as ordered by a medical provider. Performs data entry to maintain current patient records, complete referral authorizations, and complete grant reporting requirements. Performs patient care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse and / or nurse practitioner. Supports the medical provider during evaluations which includes engaging in child life activities by providing trauma informed support for children. Provides additional support in the waiting room to ensure each child receives high quality care and supervision to feel comfortable and safe.
