Facilitates the scheduling and registration process and optimizes efficiencies and workflows. Works as a liaison between family, insurance carrier, physician office, and clinical professionals to assure scheduling occurs in a highly accurate and timely manner. Assists with covering for the front office as needed.Pay RangeMinimum $21.98 Midpoint $29.13 Maximum $36.28Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.Experience
• Required: Minimum one (1) year of scheduling and registration experience in a healthcare setting using a computerized scheduling system or two (2) years of front office experience.
• Preferred: Experience coordinating and scheduling complex procedures. Experience coordinating patient care with multiple departments.Education
• Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate degree in related field.Training

• Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of computer software, i.e. Microsoft products. Ability to pleasantly handle interruptions in work-tasks due to greeting people & answering a multiple phone line. Excellent organizational skills, critical thinking skills, judgment, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work harmoniously. Ability to obtain authorizations. Knowledge of Government and Commercial insurance systems.
