Position Summary: This position is part of the Housing Stability team and works to assess clients’ suitability for various Financial Mobility programs, such as: Housing Navigation, Family Stability Initiative, financial education and coaching, as well as other crisis assistance programs available at CHN. This position will add capacity to the Financial Mobility Center by handling core program administrative tasks and providing support to housing counselors working within the programs.
The rate of pay for this position is $40,000 per year, commensurate with experience ($19.23 hourly; FLSA Non-Exempt)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will collect, process and maintain client files including intake applications and supporting documentation to prepare client file for identified program(s) and any education services required. You will actively ensure files meet funder guidelines and exercise close attention to detail in order to maintain and upkeep data integrity.
You will provide consistent follow-up assistance to housing navigators and counselors by reaching out to residents via mail, e-mail, text, and/or phone, to follow up on identified items. You will enter all information collected during the follow-up process into client files in a timely and organized manner. You will update and resolve files as services are completed by clients, or when a client has become non-responsive to your outreach.
In addition, you will schedule appointments for housing counselors, provide guidance for other programs based on the information provided in the client application, and assist other Financial Mobility programs as necessary, contingent upon need and capacity, and other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team.
Skills:
- Effective interpersonal communication skills & excellent customer service orientation
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; fluency in Spanish preferred
- Comfortable learning and adapting to CHN’s databases, particularly Salesforce
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Office 365
- An ability to multi-task and work in a high-production environment
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
