Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Payroll/HR Specialist at Choice Financial Group in Virginia Beach, VA. The Payroll/HR Specialist will be responsible for payroll administration, processing, taxes, garnishments, and payroll services on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Accredited accounting certification or college degree in accounting
• 2-4 years of payroll experience
• Payroll Administration, Payroll Processing, and Payroll Services skills
• Garnishments and Payroll Taxes expertise
• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
• Thorough understanding of state and federal laws concerning labor, employee benefits, payroll, and commitment to stay current on all state changes
• Experience with payroll software and systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other HR and business software
