General Summary:
Under the direction of the CEO, the Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and handling information requests, as well as performing routine administrative functions for the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors for Christ Community Health Services Augusta.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Provides general administrative support for the CEO;
- Serves as liaison to the Board of Directors;
- Prepares board meeting agendas, materials, presentations and correspondence;
- Responsible for board meeting minutes and record keeping;
- Assists with Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), Georgia Primary Care Association (GPCA), National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and other association correspondence and reporting;
- Maintains filing including contact and document management and archiving;
- Manages CEO’s calendar, travel arrangements, expense reports, and related documentation;
- Manages internal efforts for HRSA compliance by maintaining the RegLantern platform;
- Coordinates and maintains current policies and procedures for internal and external compliance
- Other clerical and administrative duties and miscellaneous errands as assigned by CEO.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills that allow for regular and effective communication with staff, management, board members, vendors, and other third parties
- Able to prioritize tasks and work independently to meet deadlines, while proactively engaging supervisor and co-workers when needed
- Strong overall computer skills, including strong experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn other software quickly.
- Occasional evening and weekend hours required.
Education and Experience:
- A high-school diploma or GED required
- At least five years of general office experience; higher education in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field will be considered in lieu of experience
- Non-profit administration experience is a plus
