What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids Director position at Christ Fellowship?
JOB SUMMARY:
The Kids Director provides leadership and care for all things Christ Fellowship Kids from newborn – 4th grade.
JOB DUTIES:
- Leading and developing staff teams and volunteers so that they are operating in their strengths and being most effective in their roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
- Creating and maintaining a strong "ALL IN" team culture.
- Growing campus attendance by implementing our Central Kids Team strategy.
- Ensuring the proper implementation of curriculum, policies, and procedures as directed by the Central Kids Team.
- Ensuring volunteers and staff members align with our mission, vision, and values.
- Direct the implementation of milestones (i.e. Spiritual Steps).
- Contributing to or assisting with Central Kids initiatives as needed.
- Capturing kids and family stories of life change – grab a box of tissues for this!
- Attending weekly CF staff meetings and Christ Fellowship Kids department meetings, as required.
EDUCATION:
A college graduate, preferably with a ministry degree, kid's ministry related or equivalent.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
3 years of leadership experience in kids' ministry.
JOB SPECS:
Classification: Full-Time, Salary (Exempt), including weekends and some nights.
