Automotive Technician / Mechanic Job Description
The role of Automotive Technician/Mechanic involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standards
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Foster a culture of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the team
- Effectively communicate with the service department and guests
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and desire to serve guests
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to achieve
- Able to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
