Automotive Technician/Mechanic Role
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team. This individual will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicles while maintaining a positive attitude and working collaboratively with colleagues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles using knowledge and skills to meet customer needs.
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Work effectively as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workplace.
- Collaborate with the service department to communicate customer concerns and deliver exceptional results.
- Participate in problem-solving efforts with other technicians to meet deadlines and achieve distinguished outcomes.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- ASE certifications preferred or a plan to achieve them.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles.
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Lifting and moving objects weighing over 100 pounds on occasion.
- Working with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
- Navigating tight spaces within vehicles.
- Efficiently using hand tools.
- Standing and walking for most of the workday.
- Driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Navigating computer systems.
