Location: Christian Brothers Automotive, Helotes, TX
We are seeking energetic and upbeat technicians who can diagnose and fix complex vehicle problems with a passion for doing what's right for our guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing domestic and foreign vehicles
- Building experience across a wide range of vehicle types
- Completing full and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections
- Working as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Following and promoting high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Communicating effectively with the service department
- Solving problems and meeting deadlines as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic required
- ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to achieve
- Able to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds
- Using tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Working in tight spaces
- Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently
- Standing and walking for most of the workday
- Driving manual transmission vehicles
- Navigating computer systems efficiently
