The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers for our organization.
Duties include
Scheduling volunteers and assigning tasks and duties. Providing training if needed.
Maintaining volunteer hours and evaluating performances.
Maintaining the online signing up process
Overseeing the calling of new volunteers
Work with other agencies, groups schools and churches to develop volunteers.
Thanking volunteers and hosting volunteer appreciation events.
Communicate with volunteers to help volunteers contribute to the organization and feel welcome and useful
Volunteer Coordinator candidates must enjoy and accept people from all walks of life. In addition to strong people skills the postion requires organization skills, interpersonal skills and experience in volunteering . Must be able to inspire volunteers and donors to support the organizations mission of helping anyone who comes to us for help and assistance.
