Position Overview: Providing support for Director of Operations (DOO) concerning all logistical matters. Assists in, and supports, the day-to-day and long-term operational activities of Christian Recovery Centers Inc. programs. The Operations Coordinator at Christian Recovery Centers Inc. (CRCI) is a pivotal role which is responsible for the seamless coordination of volunteers, logistics, facility and vehicle management, and schedules. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and functionality of facilities and vehicles. The Operations Coordinator serves as a liaison between the program and the development department, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Additionally, as the direct connection between management and food services personnel, the role involves overseeing menu planning and maintaining strong relationships with donor partners and various community resources. This position is responsible for scheduling all external and internal activities and working closely with the other departments to ensure that reasonable measures are taken to uphold program standards. If Operations Manager position is not filled, this position will report directly to the DOO.
Basic Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of facility operations, primarily focused on logistics.
- Actively promote environments for residents to openly receive Christ.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate tasks to ensure the successful operations of the campus, maintenance, training, and food services.
- This position should be filled by a person who has (or can obtain) a CPR and ServSafe certification. CRCI will financially support completion of these certifications, pending 90 day positive performance review, upon request by employee.
- Supervise and train direct reports to fulfill their roles and responsibilities as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Submit supervisor notes, recommendations, and performance reviews through CRCI data management system (primarily using Airtable and Google software).
- Be present whenever possible for the start of all scheduled activities to ensure that they are happening at the correct time and to the standard of CRCI.
- Ensure that notes are submitted after every class and meeting, both group and individual.
- Oversee scheduling for the week in advance with the other departments to prevent and resolve potential issues. Manage RSVP responses on company calendar and send reminders to invitees prior to the start of events.
- Participate in the bi-weekly Resident Meeting schedule and minister to residents appropriately.
- Ensuring that the maintenance department has necessary resources allocated to them and that they have all of their activities planned each week. Purchasing for maintenance should take place at the same time as any food services purchasing. Submitting online orders and scheduling pickup is the preferred method.
- Relay any programming issues to the DOO. Anything that will create a stressful environment, safety concern, or interrupt care of the residents are considered imminent dangers that your supervisor should be made aware of.
- Maintain positive reinforcement strategies for the residents including Recreation days, excellence party celebrations, and maintain tracking of individual awards.
- Manage and maintain cleanliness of campuses and vehicles assigned to your program.
- Complete monthly maintenance report for all buildings and vehicles assigned to your program and follow up on notable items.
- Submit maintenance repair/renovation requests as needed and follow up.
- Promote internship program (LDI) with residents and help develop potential candidates that could possibly be a benefit to the residents and program. Train direct report(s), LDI participants and senior residents to fulfill tasks assigned to your department to ensure continuity while you are out of the office or unavailable.
- Participate in the training and mentoring of current and future participants of the LDI and senior resident program. CRCI programs are a training ground for those who are interested in pursuing employment and/or training in the field of addiction recovery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 - $20.50 per hour
