What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Respite Provider - After School (PART TIME) position at Christian Servants Home Care, LLC?
Currently seeking a reliable In Home Respite Provider who has a steady supply of compassion, empathy and enthusiasm. We are looking for someone who is energized by working with children and a strong desire to help children and their families. The kids we serve are in need of compassionate care for a wide variety of things such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, speech, and cognitive delay. They thrive on things like mentorship, social involvement, coaching to overcome daily challenges, and the positive attention an experienced adult can provide. Additionally, your involvement offers the parents of these children an opportunity to recharge.
We currently have a PART TIME position for an in home respite provider in Fond du Lac. Hours available are Monday - Thursday 3pm-5pm. Applicant must be comfortable with respite care, providing non-medical in home cares, working on activities of daily living and creating a safe and fun environment for kids to thrive in.
Schedules can be put together with more clients to include nearly any days and hours you can do, but please note that most schedules right now INCLUDE ONLY AFTERNOON, EVENING AND/OR WEEKEND HOURS.
Positions will be part-time to start, however, additional hours will be available with the willingness to work with multiple clients in local surrounding areas. Schedules are built to ensure the caregiver has a decent schedule. **We pay our Caregivers ABOVE Market Wages**
Requirements:
- 1 year of related caregiving experience
- Previous exposure to special needs children
- Previous exposure to children with autism
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance
- Must be compassionate and have the desire to help others
- Must be consistently reliable and punctual, with a stable work history
