We are seeking a highly skilled and detail orientated Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist with a focus in X-Ray and CT to join our dynamic imaging team!
This role:
Operates equipment and performs procedures and diagnostics of the following modalities: Computed Tomography (CT) and Diagnostic Radiology (X-Ray).
Understands and satisfies the needs of the neonatal, infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age, adolescent and/or adult patient in regard to their growth and development process.
Identifies equipment performance issues and performs equipment quality assurance tests and calibration procedures. Reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate staff evaluates new products and equipment.
May prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of the Radiologist. Post-processes images as directed, and accurately identifies and labels as required. Provides patient with radiation/magnetic protection and safety in accordance with regulatory agencies.
Position requirements:
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
Must be licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a Radiologic Technologist.
Must be ARRT (CT) certified within 24 months of hire and remain current with this registry.
CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
Two years of experience in one of the specified modalities preferred.
Hours: 7pm-7:30am (12 hr/Nights)
Every 3rd weekend when fully staffed
1 week of call every 13th week when fully staffed.
