Churchill McGee LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in light commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines and budgets.
- Monitor progress, resolve issues and maintain quality control.
- Communicate with clients, architects and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
- Liaise with inspection authorities and conduct regular reviews of the construction site to ensure quality control and identify any potential issues.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of commercial construction experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, safety standards and regulations.
- Firm understanding of commercial construction industry and processes.
Education and Other Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
