Company Overview:
Based in Lugoff, South Carolina, CIDS LLC is a market leading demolition/abatement and Roll-off company. CIDS LLC works with General Contractors and direct with customers to provided Abatement and Demolition services throughout South Carolina. CIDS has grown rapidly over the past several years and are now seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team.
Job Summary
Provides operational support and operations management for environmental abatement such as asbestos, lead, mold, and interior and structural demolition. This position may occasionally require travel to nearby markets.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
· Manage equipment for projects
· Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to share equipment resources
· Coordinate planning for equipment hauling between multiple project supervisors and project managers. This may include preparing PPE, consumables, and equipment for jobs
· Work with the safety team to coordinate training and implementation of safety programs and compliance (this will include project and warehouse safety).
· Oversight of branch company trucks and DOT compliance assistance (this will include truck inspections, regular maintenance of trucks, and regular maintenance of equipment).
· Manage warehouse and shop staff, inventory, and supply deliveries
· Solicit and procure favorable pricing with vendors for equipment and supplies.
· Indemnify risks that could cause legal, financial, or contractual harm to the company.
· Responsible for assisting the Administrative Assistant in facilitating lodging for field labor.
Required Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Experience in the contracting, construction, grading, remediation, and demolition industry preferred
· Demonstrated experience effectively coordinating project crews
· Strong written, and verbal communication and organizational skills
· Ability to effectively use Excel
· Understanding of equipment
· Must pass a background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the CID’s driving (MVR) policy
· CDL preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
