The Operations Manager will serve as the central hub for all daily operations. This role is based in our Winnsboro, SC office and will oversee a team of up to 10 field service professionals to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise and support a team of drivers and technicians.
- Oversee scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure daily operational success.
- Foster a positive, high-performing work culture with a focus on teamwork and accountability.
Operational Excellence:
- Plan, coordinate, and optimize routes for Used Cooking Oil Collection, Grease Trap Cleaning, and Pressure Washing Services to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure all equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and meet safety and compliance standards.
- Monitor service completion rates and resolve any issues promptly.
Customer Satisfaction & Quality Control:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer concerns and service issues.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain service excellence for our 2,000 clients.
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and client retention.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste collection, transportation, and disposal.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and protocols.
- Maintain records for compliance audits and inspections.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting:
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
- Provide leadership with regular reports on team performance, customer satisfaction, and operational trends.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or field services (preferably in waste management, environmental services, or transportation).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing field teams and driving performance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to think strategically.
- Proficient in route planning & scheduling software.
- Experience in fleet management and vehicle/equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to grease trap services and used cooking oil collection (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
- Strong communication & customer service skills.
- CDL or experience in DOT compliance, preferred but not required.
