The selected professional will manage and utilize effective data, communication strategies, and customer service techniques to guide students through all aspects of the enrollment funnel. Responsible for following University guidelines to render admission decisions, collect admissions data, and integrate systems.
Job Related Minimum Required Education And Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Able to drive and have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems (Slate experience highly preferred)
Knowledge of Student Information Systems (Banner preferred)
Bi-Lingual
Previous experience in college admissions or sales
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Skilled at public relations and public presentation, knowledge of CRM programs for tracking from inquiry to enrollment, and knowledge of marketing and advertising strategies. Excellent presentation and communication skills and an ability to articulate the value of USCB enrollment and degrees. Knowledge of Microsoft office a must.

Review admission applications and render admission decisions within established guidelines set forth by the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Processing and releasing admission decisions to prospective student populations to include, but not limited to printing and packaging decision letters.
Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 35 Job Duty
Develop and manage a variety of queries and reports that can be shared with Enrollment Management and campus partners. Communicate with prospective students and their families by phone, email, texting, and face-to-face while documenting conversations in Customer Relationship Management system (Slate).
Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty
Responsible for assisting the Associate Director of Admissions for Operations in evaluating processes and recommending modifications to ensure the highest level of customer service, maximum effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with admission processes, including the processing of admissions data and system integrations. Assists with training of new team members on policies and procedures and in the absence of the Associate Director of Admissions for Operations provides guidance and mentorship to the operations team.

Assist with operations team functions to include, but not limited to application verification, freshman articulation, processing documents, and developing communications.
