Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager (herein ‘WM) is responsible for a wide range of responsibilities including the managing the flow of goods and materials, ensuring efficient handling, packing, shipping, and receiving processes. The manager must also practice general warehouse duties and operations. Must build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all SKUs and items, build out and maintain organized and sensible organization to ensure all items shipped out of facilities are tracked and up to date. Develop full understanding of the ERP system used in conjunction with the job description. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment & Shipping:
  • Accurately manage and track sales orders in ERP system.
  • Always document lot codes of outgoing items to ensure proper systematic depletions.
  • Quality checks each package, ensure accurate items pulled and verify the weight/ quantity of each package in the order.
  • Properly manifest each package out of ERP system, whilst inputting information needed into orders i.e. shipping information, tracking, quantities shipped, etc.
  • Generate proper tracking information and packing slips.
  • Ensure the order is accurately and legally packaged for transport.
  • Manage pallets, building of pallets, and all freight related shipments.
  • Coordinate with Operations Management and Sales Management in cases where the order cannot be fulfilled accurately.
  • Follow all established procedures/policies and package products that meet or exceed strict QA and QC standards, while prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency.
  • Communicate shipment status and updates to department managers and in some cases customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
  • Receiving:
  • Inspect incoming deliveries to verify contents and quality, ensuring all items are received in good condition.
  • Accurately store all physical documents and record received goods into ERP system.
  • Work with the Quality Control team to address any discrepancies or damaged goods, coordinating with vendors as needed.
  • Work directly with Procurement Manager to forecast future deliveries to ensure overall organization and communication.
  • All items after received in, must be labeled and stored properly per company standards.
  • Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by regularly updating records and performing monthly cycle counts. Consolidate records and adjust inventory in NetSuite for accurate stock tracking.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to manage stock levels, reordering materials as necessary.
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized per Company Standards
  • Utilize racking system to keep items organized by SKU type, client and/or FIFO.
  • Work closely with department heads to understand what items are moving in and out of the warehouse to production. Ensure managers disclose all items taken into production and accurate depletions are being made once production or fulfillment is complete.
  • Track closely lot numbers of high value items in the vault. These physical counts should always match systematic counts if possible.

Requirements

  • Regular, on-time attendance, ready to work when you walk in the door.
  • Minimum 2 years shipping/fulfillment experience.
  • Experience working with computers, Microsoft systems.
  • Experience working with wrapping materials.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to make repetitive movements, including, but not limited to bending and squatting.
  • Experience with ERPs, MRPs, or inventory tracking systems.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent change and handle ambiguity.
  • Work independently to perform inventory control duties with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to succeed with loosely defined guidelines.
  • Familiar with reading instruction manuals and SOP’s.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • A good eye for detail and accuracy in all work with ability to produce high quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed
