Job Description:
- The selected candidate will provide technical guidance and support for the idms cobol mainframe applications.
- The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to modify existing software and develop medium-complexity special-purpose database procedures to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
- The candidate will provide technical support for the Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS).
- The candidate will modify existing software and develop medium-complexity special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- - Support for the Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS). The candidate will modify existing software and develop medium-complexity special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
- - Support the MMTime sub system to ensure employees enter weekly timesheet Properly.
Preferred Experience/Qualification/Knowledge/Skills:
a. Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical field and three (3) years minimum of relevant experience
b. General Experience: Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
- Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
- Must be able to communicate and collaborate in the team environment. Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
c. Specialized Experience: Maintains application software. Develops application programs, tests the functionality of the software, and troubleshoots issues found by users.
- Has experience working with a variety of operating systems, such as Z-OS, JCJ, PROC, FOCUS and mainframe Panvalet Library.
