Position Summary: The Senior Program Operations Analyst shall provide support to various TSMO Project Directors in functional areas such as Intelligence Operations, test planning and execution, program integration, and program and project management, as a member of the Threat Operations Division. As a critical component of the High-Speed Aerial Targets and Small Unmanned Aerial Systems programs, the successful candidate will be looked upon to take the lead in the coordination, planning, and execution for high speed Aerial Target support, range & airspace time, operational test support, and live fire training exercises at both CONUS and OCONUS locations. The Senior Program Operations Analyst will provide operational oversight as well as programmatic support to ensure that all internal and external planning, tasking, and execution requirements are effectively and efficiently carried out.
Senior Program Operations Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
· Engage and coordinate with customers and end users to establish specific mission requirements relative to event and execution dates, target system(s), and performance expectations. Support the development of exercise, test, and training plans for events at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
· Provide support to all phases of event and test planning, training, and execution of varying test environments in accordance with mission objectives. Conduct technical and analytical reviews for test and training events for both pre and post event activities, providing lessons learned as required.
· Advise and assist on the development of technical plans and goals to ensure the successful execution of both short- and long-term program objectives.
· Draft key documentation such as Standard operating Procedures (SOPs), Event Agreements (EAs), and other technical artifacts which document policies and best practices utilized to successfully support test & evaluation and training missions.
· Perform project management activities such as planning, scheduling, and directing internal and external resources to keep projects/events on schedule and within cost.
· Act as a critical focal point in project initiation to help shape project scope, time, and resources, while considering project planning and risk mitigation factors.
Senior Program Operations Analyst Requirements and Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 15 years directly related experience; 20 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
· Strong blend of experience in DoD acquisition, test and training, technical program execution, and project management activities
· Robust experience with technical aspects of US Army program execution, particularly regarding procedures, analysis, operations and technical support activities
· Vast experience with Intelligence Operations to include Intelligence Research, Intelligence Analysis, and Intelligence Reporting
· On-site presence with customer at Redstone Arsenal is a must
· Availability for up to 35% travel
· Must have current TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
Desired
· Master’s degree from an accredited institution and 20 years directly related experience
· Prior experience at an organization within the Intelligence Community (IC)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate operational risks and develop corrective actions
